Use of the RBR: All healthcare providers, parents and caregivers are encouraged to use the RBR. The RBR has been made freely available since its original development in order to facilitate enhanced care of infants and children. The RBR has been endorsed by the Canadian Paediatric Society, the College of Family Physicians of Canada, and Dietitians of Canada. It can be downloaded free of charge from this website.
Healthcare organizations and governments are encouraged to incorporate and support the use of the RBR to facilitate care of infants and children. Financial contributions to support ongoing RBR development projects are welcome. They can be made to the Memorial University of Newfoundland Rourke Baby Record Research and Development Fund, and directed to: Director of Administration, Office of Finance Faculty of Medicine, Medical Education Centre, 300 Prince Philip Drive, St. John’s NL A1B 3V6. All contributions will be acknowledged.

Provisos on modifications of the Rourke Baby Record for inclusion in EMRs: Drs. Rourke and Dr. Leduc recognize the increasing importance of EMRs in the facilitation of excellent clinical care. Many physicians and healthcare providers who have used the RBR in the past have adopted an EMR or will in the future use an EMR and wish to continue using the RBR in this format. Permission to modify the RBR for inclusion in EMRs is given consideration by the Authors with the following conditions:
