The one visit per page format results in more replication of the anticipatory guidance items in the education and advice section, which in the usual format are spread over 3 visits to avoid both omission and repetition. As in the regular format, repeat discussion of items is based on perceived risk or need.
The stretched format increases the font size and writing space of the Guides in the original 3 visit per page format by stretching each page vertically onto 2 pages. The landscape format does the same horizontally.

The original 3 visits per page format is also now available as a fillable PDF. It can be completed, printed or saved by the user, but NOT saved on the RBR website.

The Province of Ontario has funded an enhanced 18 month well baby visit which in addition to the components of a usual well baby visit, uses standardized tools to allow physicians to have a discussion with parents on child development and parenting, to identify those children who will require referral to specialized services, and to inform parents about the local community programs that promote healthy child development and early learning.” (Web Resource: www.18monthvisit.ca)
